About the Founder — Zie Baron

Movement Towards Improvement was founded by Zie Baron, a Certified High-Performance Coach™, financial educator, Chaplain, and a leader committed to helping people step into the clarity, confidence, and purpose they were created for.

Zie’s journey hasn’t been linear. His path has taken him from healthcare to finance to chaplaincy — experiences that shaped both his compassion and his conviction. Each season taught him something different: how to serve, how to listen deeply, and how to lead with both empathy and discipline. These lessons are now the heartbeat of his coaching philosophy.

But his transformation didn’t just come from professional experience — it came from the battles no one could see.

For years, Zie lived with cycles of distraction, self-criticism, overwhelm, and mental exhaustion without understanding why. He pushed through anxiety, bouts of depression, unprocessed trauma, and seasons where fear and doubt felt louder than purpose. Even as he helped others grow, he wrestled silently with his own internal noise.

It wasn’t until adulthood that Zie received a diagnosis of ADHD — a moment that brought unexpected clarity. For the first time, his struggles made sense. Instead of seeing the diagnosis as a weakness, he embraced it as a revelation. It allowed him to understand himself with compassion rather than shame… and it deepened his empathy for those who silently fight their own battles.

These lived experiences — from PTSD to grief to finally understanding his neurodiversity — didn’t break him; they refined him. They strengthened his purpose and shaped a coaching approach rooted in real-world resilience, emotional understanding, and spiritual grounding.

Today, Zie believes that true success should never require sacrificing well-being, faith, or relationships. His coaching blends practical strategy with wholehearted humanity — helping leaders, entrepreneurs, and families pursue excellence without losing themselves in the process.

Outside of coaching, Zie cherishes every moment with his wife and three children, trains for ultra-cycling and endurance events, and serves his community as a volunteer Chaplain. He believes every challenge carries an invitation: to grow, to rise, and to rediscover the greatness God placed within you.
